"Staff Didn’t Feel Very Welcoming"
I stopped by expecting a smooth visit, but the staff didn’t come across as very friendly. When I had a question, they didn’t seem too interested in helping, which made the whole experience feel a bit uncomfortable.

I went in assuming there would be a decent variety of animals to see, but it was disappointing. We barely saw any, and after a while it started to feel like each area was going to be more of the same. Not the experience I was hoping for.

"Left feeling uneasy about the animals"
I visited with my family, i left feeling uneasy. A few of the animals looked bored and were just pacing around, which was hard to watch. And this is where it got annoying, the whole conservation message felt more like something printed on a sign than something you could actually see happening. It just didn’t sit right with me, and I don’t think I’d go back

"Not the best for little kids"
This wasn’t a great fit for my younger kids. They got bored quickly, and when we needed help, it felt like there was barely any real human contact. The staff weren’t very helpful, and everything felt a bit too hands-off.

"We mainly went for the safari..."
We mainly went for the safari, but we thought we’d make the most of the rides and other attractions while we were there. To be honest, that part was a bit of a let down. Quite a few things either weren’t open or just felt a bit tired, and some areas looked like they could do with a proper clean or refresh. The kids did enjoy a couple of bits, but the queues moved slowly and it didn’t really feel worth the extra time or money. It wasn’t a terrible day by any means, but I left feeling a bit sad that it didn’t live up to what we’d hoped for.

"Spent most of the time stuck waiting"
The queues pretty much ruined the day for us. We were sat in the car for ages, barely moving, and it really felt like nobody was properly organising things. Part of me wondered if they’d just let too many people in and hoped everyone would put up with it once they’d already paid.

By the time we finally got through, everyone was tired and annoyed, so it took the shine off the whole thing. For what it cost, I expected it to be handled a lot better. I don’t think we’ll be rushing back anytime soon

"Nice visit overall, with a small thing to improve"
We had a good day out and overall I left feeling like the place was well run. The animals looked healthy and cared for, and the staff seemed to be paying attention to safety, which was reassuring. It was nice just walking around and taking everything in, especially since it didn’t feel chaotic. After a while though, we did notice that some of the signs and instructions were a little hard to follow, especially if you haven’t been before. A bit more clear guidance in certain areas would make the whole experience feel smoother and safer.

"not great if you have mobility needs"
i had a frustrating experience here. the access wasn’t good at all, and when i needed help, the staff didn’t seem very willing or able to assist. definitely not somewhere i’d recommend if mobility is a concern.

"Wouldn’t spend the money on this walking safari"
I left feeling like I’d wasted both my time and money on this. The whole thing felt rushed, we barely saw any animals, and the guide didn’t seem especially interested in making the experience better. I kept thinking we should’ve chosen a different tour instead, because this one just didn’t feel worth it.

"Nice animals, but the facilities were a letdown"
We had a decent day seeing the animals, but the toilets really took the shine off it. The ones near us smelled awful, the floor was wet, and there was barely any toilet roll. What made it more annoying was that it wasn’t very clear where else we were supposed to go or whether there were better facilities elsewhere.
For the price you pay, I expected the basics to be kept clean and for information to be a bit clearer. It all felt a bit neglected, and with kids in tow, that sort of thing makes a big difference. We ended up not wanting to stay as long as we’d planned.

"A bit expensive, but we still had a good time"
We had a decent day out overall. The animals were great to see and the kids really enjoyed themselves, so I’m not saying it was a bad visit at all. I do get that places like this cost a lot to run, but it did feel a little pricey for what you actually get, especially once you add food and the extra bits on top. Still, we had fun, I just think it could be a bit better value.

"The arrival was a bit of a..."
The arrival was a bit of a headache. Parking felt really disorganised, the signs weren’t obvious, and even the staff seemed a bit unsure where cars were meant to go. Compared with other family attractions we’ve been to, it just felt much less smooth from the start.

The queue to get in was also painfully slow, and it didn’t really look like anyone was properly managing it. When you’ve got kids in the car getting bored and restless, that makes everything feel twice as stressful.
The safari itself might be great once you’re actually inside, but the whole parking and entry experience really put me off. I’d probably choose somewhere with an easier arrival next time rather than rushing back here.

"Felt dirty, run down, and support just went in circles"
I was disappointed with how unclean the place felt when we visited. The toilets were dirty, bins were overflowing, and a few of the eating areas looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned or checked in a while.

There were also parts of the park that just seemed really run down. Some signs were faded or worn out, bits of the paths looked broken, and a couple of the viewing areas felt tired and neglected rather than somewhere you’d want to stop and enjoy.

For the price, I expected a much better standard. I also tried raising it afterwards, but dealing with support felt like being stuck in a loop of repeated replies without anyone actually addressing the issue. Overall, it just didn’t feel well looked after and wasn’t the nice day out we were hoping for.

"I don’t know why it was so disappointing"
I don’t know why, but the whole experience was just kind of a letdown. The drinks came out warm, and the food was bland, especially for the price. I was expecting a lot better.
